I remember flying up to Boston with Cheryl in the fall of our senior year. We were going there to check out the campus, as we had both applied to BU. Our flight was caught in a terrible rainstorm and it seemed as if we would be dropped out of the sky. As we clutched each others hand in mortal fear of dying, Cheryl described what she wanted her funeral to look like: all hot pink flowers. That was her favorite color at the time. Alas, I don't know if her wish came true when she met her untimely death at a very young age.
