Michael Sherman VIEW PROFILE

Michael was my husband of 44 years when he died suddenly while recovering from surgery.  We became a couple right after the senior prom and were together ever since.  He built a tax and accounting practice from scratch, and was an expert challenger of the IRS.  Our son Richard became his partner and continues the business today.   Life with Michael was event filled.   He was proud to have earned his pilot's license and would find any excuse to fly off to someplace new for fun.  He remained active in many sports through the years, from golf to tennis and skiing.  His keen sense of taste opened the culinary world to our life and we enjoyed experiencing new restaurants.  We were always eager to travel and had some wonderful journeys together.  We became very involved in Samoyed rescue after discovering this wonderful breed and saved and raised many during the years.   Michael's most joyous role these past 11 years was in being Poppy to our grandchildren Kyle and Amy.  I think if he could tell you one thing it would be that life is short, and not to waste the time you have.  He lived those words, maybe he knew something.  I loved him very much.  Joanie Parsly Sherman

Joanie, thanks for sharing those beautiful memories, and for helping me remember Mike. He was a good guy, and I remember him fondly.  I'm very sorry for your loss.
